- Buckman Tavern - Located across the street from the Battle Green, the Buckman Tavern is one of the most historic sites in Lexington. Built in the 1700s, the tavern witnessed the Battle of Lexington and Concord and was one of the favored spots for the militiamen. The interior of the tavern is largely the same, and has been restored throughout the years to preserve the historic charm.
