About the Town of Watertown

The Town of Watertown is bordered by the upscale suburb of Belmont, as well as social hotspots including Brighton, Waltham and Newton, the border is largely made up of the famous Charles River, which runs throughout the Greater Boston Area. Though Watertown is not particularly diverse (according to the most recent census results), a large portion of the population belongs to the Armenian culture (considered to be the 3rd largest Armenian population in the United States) and as a result there are many authentic Armenian markets and restaurants full of wonderful goodies to share with friends and family!

Arsenal Yards

Opened in Spring of 2019 in the location of the former Arsenal Mall, Arsenal Yards is lining up to be a highlight of Watertown. The campus will include all of the modern amenities this suburb has been missing: curated shops, entertainment, interesting and unique dining options, and even groceries, in addition to the apartments that will be going up.

Education Opportunities

The public schools in Watertown have great academics, rating at A- on www.niche.com. However, some work has yet to be done in the name of extracurriculars and resources. A brand new high school is underway, one of the first LEED certified school buildings in the US, committed to achieving Net Zero Energy... Coming soon in 2026!
