About the City of Wellesley

Luxurious and affluent .... Wellesley (Metro West) is an ideal place to live and only twenty minutes from Boston. Not to mention it is home to our very own C. Devon’s Homes!

The town with a population of 29 thousand, boasts top rated public schools, three colleges, ample walking paths, well-built homes, and great landscapes.  The crime rate is extremely low in this high-end affluent town. The Town Hall looks like a castle, the library and the senior center are new. The streets are safe. You feel secure and comfort living here.

A house here becomes a home for generations. Living in Wellesley offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes.

In Wellesley there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many young professionals live in Wellesley and residents tend to be liberal.

Wellesley has a Whole Foods and Roche Bros. There are two Starbucks, One DD, and A Fish Market. There are many houses of worship.

A Historic fact: In 1789, president George Washington rode through the town on a path that is currently named in his honor.

On October 23, 1880 Wellesley was born, 100 years before our Devon.

Wellesley was once part of Needham and they started their own town hall in what is today Wellesley Country Club.
