Lasell University

Lasell University was founded in 1851 and has been serving as Newton's primary Liberal Arts school ever since. A small university tucked into the hills and suburbs of Auburndale, the school is large enough to promote a large selection of opportunities, while small enough so as not to disturb the neighbors. Nicknamed the Lasers, the students are situated just 8 miles from Boston and walking distance from many local public transportation options.
